1) The first thing you need to become an actor is get some experience. Before you try to get and agent or anything like that, go to the local theater and get into a class or one of there productions. 2) Once you know it is something you want to pursue, get into a class or get a degree in ti. What Colleges Have Acting Classes? Almost all do. Check the local college. You don’t need to move yet. 3) Get with a local agency. If you are in a smaller market, there should be a couple of small agents. Tell them you are taking classes and want to get some auditions. The bigger the market the harder this will be, but those are the first 3 things you need to do to get started.
