I had this girlfriend once that used to buy me the strangest gifts. Like one Christmas, she bought me this guitar, along with a guitar course on video. I had never mentioned anything like this to her before, or even expressed any desire to play music at all, but there she was, giving me this guitar. I asked her if she secretly wanted a rock star as a boyfriend, and she completely denied it. She just said she got this “feeling” that I would enjoy playing the guitar. I tried, and believe it or not, I quite liked playing the guitar. So that ended up being a pretty good gift.
