I used to be so very envious of my friend who could just pick up any old guitar that he wanted to and start shredding. I was a very pleased to find out that a lot of the techniques that he was using to get the speed that he had were available online, like alternate picking. I started looking them up and practicing them over time. I am now just as fast as he is, if not faster. We are both still working on our scales and speed with accuracy. I am very excited to take this to th next level and start really impressing some folks.
