A lot of people are wondering which type of parking structure they should build whne building their new homes. The two choices are Carports and garages. Usually this is a regional choice, however you should choose which better suits your needs. Garages are enclosed and can usually be locked up. This provides an extremely high level of security. However this isn’t usually needed, and garages tend to be more expensive because they require more materials. Carports however provide nearly the same amount of protection from the elements, require less materials, and usually have a built in storage room which eliminates security concerns. As you can tell I prefer carports, but you should choose which one best suits you.
