A drum mixer is used to agitate liquids in a 55 gallon drum. It is a simple device with a mixer motor, a stainless steel shaft, a mixer propeller or folding impeller, and can mount to the 55gal drum in many ways. A simple Drum Mixer for simple stirring can be very cost effective and simple thread into the NPT bung on the drum cover. Some designed get very sophisticated with all stainless biopharm duty agitators, with polished stainless steel drum cover, stainless electric or air operated motor, and wetted parts would be polished and electropolished. Mix it up drum bung style with a 55gallon blending system.
