Building a new school is no small task. Just getting the approval process through is grueling. As a charter school, we faced even more challenges. Traditional public schools don’t like us around, but we knew that the parents and students vitally needed our service. That’s why we were so excited to get LEED certification for our building. We knew that the process would generate great PR and get us press. It would also reduce our overall cost of running the school, which was great. Goodness knows that we need to save money wherever we can. It worked great and our school is prospering, despite the naysayers.
