As usual I overreacted. I walked down the stairs into my basement where I saw water slipping down the wall. My first thought was, this is going to cost thousands. When my husband came home I showed him the water and he said calmly that he knew what to do. The same thing that happened in his parents house when he was growing up it, was a simple fix. All we had to do was buy some basement waterproofing products and he could do the job over the weekend. I am so glad I have a husband who can complete easy home projects.
