At the next meeting for the board, I again submitted my proposal for fixing the ponds up and restoring the clear and clean water. I added in that the fish would begin suffering and die without proper pond aeration. Again, I was voted down. I decided to inquire about the next elections for the board. They were in 2 months, and I was determined to be elected president so I could fix the real problems of the community. The current board had to go. They were more concerned with adding 2 additional tennis courts, instead of trying to preserve the beauty and nature we had all moved there for.
