I’m so glad Marks and Spencer have started doing ethical clothes. As a consumer, I am acutely aware that our clothing industry is having a profound effect on people overseas- especially with out ‘wear once, throw out’ culture. I was shocked to discover Primark, who I relied on for so many things, were actually using unethical employment techniques which was how they kept their clothing so cheap. However, I do find ethical clothing expensive, until that is I found VoucherSeeker, who give discounts on shopping online. The M&S vouchers ensure I spend less and don’t feel as guilty, so all in all, everyone wins.
