The cultural movement of hip hop was born in the early seventies and one of the first released vinyl records was by the Sugar Hill Gang and was titled ‘Rappers Delight’.A fast paced music type, hip hop has also created its own style of fashion which helps symbolize this newly created music.A Jamaican, called DJ Kool Herc, developed the hip hop form of music and brought it with him, from Jamaica, to the streets of New York back in the 1970’s.Mixing two copies of the same vinyl record and including a rap conversation, the culture of hip hop, loop download and rap was born.
