We were in Florida a few years ago with one of those metal detectors. My oldest son took it out on the beach and found a real gold watch. When we got home, he put it away somewhere and forgot all about it. He is planning a trip for this summer with some buddies and needed some money, so he took that old watch to one of those cash 4 gold places and ended up getting a great deal more money than he ever dreamed he would. I guess that metal detector rental surely paid for it’s self, that’s for sure.
