A great place for North American holidays is the city of San Francisco. Its the largest city in northern California and is well known for its just of Cable Cars as a mode of transportation. For the tourist there are well known sites like Lombard Street, one of the steepest and most crooked streets in the world; and Fisherman’s Wharf and the city’s most famous landmark, the Golden Gate Bridge. In addition to being known for having steep streets and cable cars, San Francisco is also known for having one of the most famous prisons in the world, the unescapable Alcatraz Island.
